At this site you will find stories about our missions, our schedule of events, our membership directory and information on search and rescue dogs.

We train Strike K-9 search and rescue dogs to put their amazing sense of smell to good use. Our dogs learn to find people lost in the woods. We respond to requests for help in locating lost hunters, hikers, children, and elderly people.

Pennsylvania is a great place to get lost.

Based in Central Pennsylvania, STRIKE K-9 is affiliated with the Pennsylvania Search and Rescue Council (PSARC). Our volunteers are certified by Pennsylvania's Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR). Our search and rescue dogs are available for dispatch every day of the year, 24 hours a day, in all weather conditions.

Kids + Demonstrations

It's that time of year when the kids are out of school, and

S.T.R.I.K.E. K-9 is busy with demonstrations. We love connecting with the children and their families and showing them what we do and how the dogs actually do their jobs.

Outside at the Union County Library

This week we were at the Union County Library in Lewisburg as part of their "Get a Clue at your Library" program. We also went to the "Adventure Camp" at Bald Eagle State Park near Howard. It is the best part of the summer for us, to work with the kids and teach them to enjoy the outdoors safely. Thanks for inviting us to come!!!!

Mission Statement

STRIKE K-9's mission is to train, equip, and mobilize personnel for the purpose of saving lives. We work cooperatively with emergency services and law enforcement agencies in the location of missing persons. We provide community education on the topics of Wilderness Safety and Disaster Preparedness.
